How to change oil pan on 1999 ford f350 7.5 diesel engine?

Cargopilot is right, you will need to remove the transmission, undo the exhaust pipes from the engine, remove the engine mount bolts, and hoist the engine up high enough to remove the oil pan. You %26quot;may%26quot; be able to leave the tranny on, but you will need a floor jack with a block of wood between the jack and tranny and lift it along with hoisting the engine at the same time. (I replaced the oil pan gasket on a F-150 this way, but it would have been easier and safer to just remove the transmission). If you can't get the clearence then the tranny will have to be removed. Make sure you disconnect both negative batteries cables before starting. I have the same truck as yo do!!! 99 Ford F-350 Superduty 7.3 powerstroke dually. How to change oil pan on 1999 ford f350 7.5 diesel engine?
Yikes! What a mess! If memory serves, you will need to lift the engine and possibly remove the transmission to remove it from the rear. Not a job for the faint of heart and that ol' black oil will stain everything it touches.
